Formed in 2011 by Cork Trombonist/Composer Paul Dunlea as a creative outlet for his own compositions - The Paul Dunlea Sextet - utilizes some of the finest improvising musicians from Ireland & the U.K. to produce melodic and groove driven music fusing influences of Jazz harmony,  pop,funk and R&B.

The Group released their debut album 'bi-polAr' in 2013 to critical acclaim. It reached #1 on the iTunes Jazz Chart. The group is due to release it's second album in early 2020.
